Chinese New Year vibe is still on, yet I still don't get into the mood for CNY. Cause my mind has been occupied with so many stuff, assignments, spring cleaning, assignments, spring cleaning and all this over and over again.
Mother's been inviting all my relatives and we have continously preparing food to serve them for days, for days and for days. Right now while I am writing my blog over here, there is a number of relatives having fun gambling around my house, I don't get to join in, hence I am actually the dishwasher, everyone gets their turn to savour my mother rendang curry, mushroom chicken, fried chicken, 'suen choy ' and of course white rice. All are cook by my mom ,no outsider, as you would have guess my mom have a lot of plates, plates, bowl, bowl, glasses, glasses, cups ,cups, tupperware and tupperware and lots and lots and lots of cutleries~~ And that means I am like a operating 24 hr dish washer (human dishwasher ) and hence the expression " HAIYOO~~ YamKung.... -:- O i SERIOUSLY NEEDS A MAID" some one just give me some extra hand or whatever or maybe give me a giant dish washer... ( I more useful than the machine)\
Yesterday was"Pai tian kung" and V Day.
Pai tian kung as usual, we fold and fold, we arrange and arrange and we stack and stack everything until it is 2 am in the morning. All because of the firecrackers, you can hear almost every car in the neighborhood get alive and created an orchestra of " beep beep..eyooo thoun thoun ti ti wuui wuuui" sound. Fantastic isn't it? My dad Mers is super sensitive haha~ We - Chinese called it,"YIT LAU!!"
Like any girls I would want to spend my V day with a special someone but too bad, there is still a long walk to go, but I am so much more happy when my friends are celebrating with their bf or gf. When you are in love, all else don't matter and of course this is the day where you can spread and show your affection freely... and so YOU SHOULD.
Apart from that I notice one thing, I guess no matter you are single or with couple, when you give something to your friends sincerely , they feel so much more happier because ( V day is more meaningful with a friend like you) Simple statement but yet the meaning is clear .
SO now, I am thinking what surprises I want to give to all of my course mate for next Valentine. It's my last year in UM and I think I shall enchant them on that special day..(just wait and see:-p)
Oh and today, I schedule a bouquet of roses to be sent to one of my friend. And it happens I am waiting for him to give me a call and said he receives the roses, and somehow 4 pm - no response, 5 pm - no response, 6 pm - no response ..(OH my gosh where is that damn flowers!)
So I called the florist and confirm and they say they give me a call later when they confirmed what is the matter.
I wait and wait and I called and called their hot line.. continuously until 6.45 near to 7 .15 pm.
They finally called ME back.
What happen is: "I am sorry, there 's been some accident to the delivery boy. During that accident, the bouquet of roses were ruin, and therefore the delivery boy can't delivered the bouquet ,moreover he is hurt and unable to deliver it to the stated destination on time."
Therefore, they apologize for what has happened and say they will resend a new bouquet the next day to the same address.
So I guess , I feel super awful for that delivery boy, it's just a flower, and I wish he gets well soon. What can I say to a person who rush all the way to just to make my wish come true and someone else's day better :-l
I schedule it to be send on the coming Monday, so since it is late, and since it is after V day, and it's still after V day the coming Monday, so what difference does it made. The bouquet of roses still will be there after V day, cause "Valentine comes once a year with it's hearts, chocolate and cheer, but Any Day is a great day to love you!"
Happy V day to everyone out there!!
